The Horticulture Association of Bhutan (HoAB) offers paid internship opportunities throughout the year at its head office in Taba, Thimphu. Interns can choose a field that aligns with their interests and career goals, either in Communications or Horticulture.

Are you passionate about writing, media, and public engagement? The Communications Department at HoAB is offering editorial internships for motivated individuals looking to build or transition into a career in communications.

This internship is open to:

  • College-level students pursuing journalism, English, horticulture, or related fields

  • Adults with relevant experience seeking a career change or further training

Interns will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Writing and researching articles for The Bhutan Gardener magazine

  • Proofreading and fact-checking content

  • Coordinating submissions from authors and photographers

  • Supporting photography, social media, and website content

  • Participating in workshops and field visits to local gardens

This is an excellent opportunity to explore horticultural communication in a real-world, national-level publishing environment.

HoAB’s horticultural internship program is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture, gardening, and sustainability.
