Dasho Ugyen Tsechup Dorji

Dasho Ugen Tsechup Dorji is the Patron of the Horticulture Association of Bhutan. His guidance and strategic insight have been instrumental in advancing the growth of the horticulture sector in Bhutan. Drawing from his deep experience in the private sector and his long-standing advocacy for rural development, Dasho has helped the association identify key areas for transformation and forge meaningful partnerships that benefit farming communities.

Under his patronage, the Association has initiated several impactful programs—ranging from the introduction of improved crop varieties and sustainable farming techniques to the formation of farmer cooperatives.
