Established in 2015, the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation aims to promote six key initiatives, including sustainable agriculture partnerships with reputable organizations, women’s empowerment, and science innovation centers. This award is a testament to President Tshering Wangchuk’s dedication to these initiatives and his tireless efforts in promoting sustainable agricultural practices in Bhutan.
